Overview

Brent’s practice is primarily focused in assisting clients handle environmental issues and developing renewable energy projects. His clients include local, state, federal and tribal governments, non-profits, and private industry. Brent’s environmental practice is bolstered by more than 10 years of experience conducting field sampling and research, assessing injury and damages associated with environmental contamination, and evaluating biological resources. His consulting experience has given him a strong understanding of the underlying technical aspects of environmental liabilities. He has assisted with natural resource damage assessments, provided litigation support on a number of environmental claims, and served as a consulting and testifying expert witness. Brent also works with entrepreneurs and companies with formation, planning, strategy development. He is experienced in contract review and negotiation as well as resolving contract disputes. He assists clients with navigating the federal procurement process and represents clients in bid protests before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and state and federal agencies.
